As one of the original organizers of this event and now a co-organizer for HealthCamp, I can appreciate the comments about the lack of schedule. That first year we had to look to our personal connections to convince people to come and talk. I had three presentations ready to go in case there weren't enough people signed up - and did them all. We also convinced people to do panels which made it a bit easier for some people to get in front of a crowd. -- I've organized both traditional events and these unconference type of events and both can be good. But I seldom see the passion among both the presenters and the attendees that I see at the unconferences. The trade-off is that you can't always get to everything you want to see or meet with everyone you want to meet. ~ I also ran Lunch 2.0 for a while to have BarCamp type sessions at lunch time and keep the momentum going. If we can find someone to lead that meetup and there is enough interest, we might start it again. ~ It's been exciting to see some of the other activity around the Central Florida area that showcases the developers, innovators and entrepreneurs who are creating new and exciting things. ~ I hope you were able to make some other connections and met some of the leaders of the user groups, Ignite!, and other events that will take place throughout the year. ~ Join the Web-Tech Meetup group. Stay connected through Facebook and Twitter and join everyone again at the other BarCamps. Sarasota has a BarCamp in October and Orlando has one in April. ~ You have an interesting background and it would be nice to see you present at one of these events, as well. ~ Thanks for the great comments. Hope to see you at the next event.

To call it BarCamp, you can't set the schedule...

To call it BarCamp, you can't set the schedule.
